Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service
The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service is made up of a 16 bed inpatient unit as well as the Brain Injury Community Rehabilitation Team (BICRT). The aim of these specific programs within the Brain Injury Rehab Service is to restore as much function and independence as possible, while at the same time facilitating adjustment to disability, promoting self determination and enhancing quality of life. All activities/therapies are conducted in as close to home-like environment as possible.
A supportive environment exists for ongoing education and the promotion of research based practice within the unit.
