Bunnings Volunteers

Rydalmere Bunnings

In 2014 Rydalmere Bunnings generously contributed to Royal Rehab by providing garden beds. The seed of a fruitful relationship was obviously planted as the Rydalmere Bunnings staff returned in 2015 to help us with a new project.

29 highly committed Bunnings Warehouse staff volunteers painted the internal walls of one of our community homes in Eastwood. Materials and staff-time were kindly donated by several Bunnings Warehouse stores and paint donated by Dulux Australia.

Thank you very much Bunnings and Dulux Australia!

Villawood Bunnings

Residents in our Bass Hill community home can now enjoy summer and Christmas festivities in their backyard with their new Coolaroo® Shade Shelter.

A huge thanks to Ken and Warren of Motorcycle Accident Rehabilitation Initiative (MARI), the Dr Wings Team and volunteers from BMW Touring Club NSW and Bunnings Villawood for donating the materials and offering their time to install the structure, all under the watchful eyes and supervision of the residents!

“The community support from these Volunteers and Bunnings has delivered a great outcome and a lovely early Christmas gift for the residents. We really appreciate the efforts of this wonderful team who put their hands up to assist,” says Ayse, Manager of Volunteer Services.

Residents Lisa, Semko and David are thrilled with the new addition to their home and are excited to be able to spend some time outside without the heat beaming down on them!
