Hydrotherapy Sydney

Hydrotherapy

Aquatic therapy takes exercise to greater heights by utilising water’s properties and its temperature effects to boost strength and mobility. Hydrotherapy is especially advantageous for people living with chronic conditions like arthritis, those in recovery from illness or injury, and certain neurological issues.

Benefits of Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy assists in building muscle strength and improving your ability to move and function. The unique qualities of water, combined with the reduced gravity and buoyancy effects it provides, can support post-surgical recovery and help manage conditions related to muscles, bones, and the nervous system.

Benefits include:

  • Increase in strength
  • Improvement in mobility and function
  • Pain relief
  • Improvement in mood and sleep
  • Stress relief

What's involved

By tapping into the body’s reactions to warm water, hydrotherapy triggers sensations that activate the immune system, affect the release of stress hormones, and improve digestion, circulation, blood flow, and pain relief.

In a welcoming air-conditioned setting, our heated hydrotherapy pool is the stage for both individual and group therapy sessions. You can begin with gentle movements in the water and advance to water exercise classes or deep water running. With our team of trained therapists by your side, you’ll be amazed at the progress you can make.
