ROYAL REHAB FOUNDATION
Why Royal Rehab Needs Your Support
When you make a donation to the Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney (Royal Rehab) you make a transparent and tangible contribution to the work we do in helping people recovering from an accident, injury or illness to return to the community with as much independence as possible.
You are welcome to specify your support that will assist any one of our dedicated Units or Services or we will use your donation to fund our next most urgent need. We continually need to upgrade rehab equipment so as to provide the best in technology and expedite the rehab process.
The tilt table is an integral component of rehabilitation for clients who have suffered spinal cord injury or stroke. The table is multi-functional and provides a means of improving lower limb muscle length through prolonged stretch. It also assist in the strengthening of lower limbs and upper limb exercises in a supported standing position.
The tilt table costs over $6,000. Royal Rehab is grateful to organisations that have provided funds for the table, including the Cecilia Kilkeary Foundation and the Australia Chinese Foundation.
Tilt tables are constantly in demand.
