Services are provided from a variety of locations across NSW.
Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney is a teaching hospital which enjoys a long-term affiliation with the University of Sydney, resulting in the creation of specific research units:

Together with Royal Rehabilitation Centre's Rehabilitation Nursing Research and Development Unit they support the Centre to develop and implement evidence based best practice in rehabilitation.

Work is underway on the construction of the new Royal Rehabilitation Centre.
The new, ultra-modern Weemala has been completed and officially opened by the NSW Minister for Health, The Hon. Jillian Skinner.
The parkland is now open. The next stage will see commencement of the Royal Rehabilitation Centre Recreation Circle which includes a new Community Hall and Child Care Centre. These facilities are designed for public access and use.
Construction of the new Royal Rehabilitation Centre commenced in February 2012 and will be completed in 2013.
All of the Centre's clinical units, together with all current patients have been relocated for the construction period to the "big white building on top of the hill" - the building formerly known as Weemala.
Royal Rehabilitation Centre's Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Lowndes, said: " We are very fortunate that the old Weemala builing is so spacious that we are able to run all general and specialist rehabilitation services throughout the construction period. Our Outpatient services continue to operate from the Hodson Building, which can be accessed via the 227 Morrison Road entrance - so it's business as usual across the entire centre."
