STAGE 1 - THE NEW WEEMALA
July 2011 - Progress Report
The scaffold on the outside of the new building has now been completely removed and the building is now revealed.
The works on the internal fit out in buildings 1 and 2 are continuing. The lift in building 1 is being installed and the lift contractors are testing its operation. The lift in building 2 will then be installed.
The roof for the covered walkway between the two buildings has been installed and ADCO have advised the associated wall structures and glass inserts will be installed shortly.
The clean up of the grounds in front of the building will then commence.
When the clean up is completed the works for the new concrete pathway in front of the building will begin and when completed access to the new pathway will be via the existing internal roadway that joins to the car park in the Coorabel building.
June 2011 - Progress Report 
ADCO Constructions are installing the wall sheet coverings in Building 1 and have the ceiling support grid installed ready to be fitted out with new ceiling gyprock.
ADCO have commenced the new wall sheet coverings and ceiling support grid installation in Building 2.
The brick face of Buildings 1 and 2 is now fully installed. The brick face will be acid washed where required to enhance the brick surface of the buildings.
The air conditioning duct work and fire sprinkler pipework is being installed in both buildings and ADCO have advised that this is near completion. When the ceiling works are completed the new services e.g air conditioning vents and grilles, lights, fire sprinklers will be installed.
All the wet areas in both buildings have been epoxy sealed and are ready for the installation of concrete and new tiling.
ADCO have advised that their painter will commence works soon - first painting all the exposed metalworks and then the interior for both buildings.
The windows are being installed over coming weeks. The gas change over is now completed.
The installation of the water and sewerage pipe lines from Charles is now complete and the trench, which was excavated in the internal Charles Street roadway into the property for the pipe lines, has been refilled and ADCO have advised that they have planned to concrete the trench.

April - Progress Report
ADCO Constructions have advised that they are undertaking the following works on the new Weemala building -
Building 1 -
* Finish blockwork to roof.
* Commence structural steel to roof.
* Strip out the ground floor.
Building 2 -
* Install blockwork from level 1 to roof.
* Commence structural steel to roof.
ADCO have advised that following the completion of the roof structural steel works for the roofs, the roofs tiles/covering will be installed.
They have also advised that when the above works are fully completed the internal fit out will commence.
March - Progress Report
The new Weemala building works are progressing well and ADCO constructions have advised that they are on target for the completion date.
The concrete in Building 1 has been poured. The form work for the concrete for Building 2 is being installed and the concrete pour will be undertaken in coming weeks.
When the concrete settles ADCO will commence the installation of the brick walls and timber roofs on both buildings.
February - Progress Report
ADCO Constructions have commenced the installation of the new block walls to building 1 - from ground floor to first floor.
The formwork for building 2 ground floor has been completed, the reinforcement fixings have been added and a concrete pour completed.
ADCO have advised that they will now commence the installation of the new block walls to building 2 - from ground floor to first floor.
A survey has been undertaken by ADCO Constructions for the gas requirements for the new Weemala and for other buildings in the Centre. This information will be used to determine the gas equipment - meter, regulator, and valves that are required to supply gas to the Centre.
Progress Report January 2011
ADCO Constructions have advised that works are progressing on the site, including:
* Reinforcement installation and preparation works for the concreting of the ground floor slab to Building 1.
* Completion of the formwork to Building 2 basement walls and the forming of the ground floor slab to Building 2.
* Preparation works for the services outside the construction site boundary - gas and water incoming services.
Progress Report - December 2010 
ADCO Constructions have completed a concrete pour for the basement walls for building 1.
The next stage will be the installation of the basement concrete slab for building 1.
The Dincell wall installation for building 2 continues and ADCO have advised that the wall and basement concrete pours for the building will occur early January 2011.
Following the recent inclement weather works were unable to be undertaken, but with the change int he weather conditions ADCO have advised that they are catching up on the lost days and are confident that they will complete the project in the specified contract time.
Progress Report - November 2010
ADCO Constructions have advised that this will they will continue the basement wall construction, rough in the services in the ground and commence the formwork to the ground floor on building 1.
The Dincel wall system, which will be used for the basement walls, is being installed and the photgraph below will provide an overview of how it will look.
