ROYAL REHAB PROJECT APPLICATIONS 2008

Royal Rehabilitation Centre Sydney has sought Government approval to construct a purpose-built, state-of-the-art specialist rehabilitation, disability and research facility on our site in Ryde. This new facility would form the hub of a network of community and home-based support services, integrating rehabilitation and disability services into the community.

ROYAL REHAB has submitted a subdivision plan for its Ryde site to the NSW Department of Planning (DOP).

The subdivision application sets out details of the future utilisation of the land on the site’s18 hectares.

There are seven allotments in total - two for the new state of the art Health Facility and recreational grounds; and five for the independent residential project and passive and active community recreational facilities.

Accompanying the subdivision plan are 16 annexures in response to the DOP requirements for this application.

The document known as the Form 6 application has also been lodged by ROYAL REHAB with DOP, in keeping with normal planning practice.

This document also contains schematic drawings of the new site, including landscaping and the installation of a Detention Basin.
