Spinal Injury Unit
The Spinal Injury Unit offers a state-wide service to clients who have sustained traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord injuries. It is a 18-bed unit, which offers individually tailored, multi-disciplinary rehabilitation programs. The aim of these specific programs is to restore as much function and independence as possible, while at the same time facilitating adjustment to disability, promoting self determination and enhancing quality of life.
Transitional Living Unit
Depending on the client's medical condition, a stay in the Transitional Living Unit with family, to experience 'life outside rehab' may be encouraged. The unit is a self-contained flat next to the Spinal Injury Unit. Usually clients stay in the Unit for three days.

Wheelchair users gym guide
The ‘Gym Guide for Wheelchair Users’ has been developed for by the recreation therapy service with rehabilitation clients who have an interest in continuing to pursue health and fitness activities such as attending community-based gym and fitness centers. The guide aims to generate ideas, spark peoples’ motivation & demonstrate various exercises that might be possible using equipment commonly found at many gym and fitness centers. The focus again is on ‘Can Do!’ and we hope this guide encourages people to do just that.
